Holy Panda Switches are the latest rage in the tech world. If you’re not familiar with them, don’t worry, we’re here to explain everything you need to know!

Holy Panda Switches are a type of mechanical keyboard switch that is becoming more and more popular. They offer a great typing experience and have a very low actuation force. In this article, we will discuss what Holy Panda Switches are, how they work, and why they are so popular!

What’s Holy Panda Switches?

Holy Panda switches are the holy grail of tactile switches. They combine the best aspects of two famous switch types, the stem of a Halo True and the housing of a Invyr Panda.

You’ll enjoy their snappy feel and satisfying sound as you type on your favorite keyboard. Holy Pandas have a higher activation force, making them perfect for those who like a more pronounced tactile bump.

The Holy Panda switch was made for those who demand the best from their keyboards. With a higher activation force 67g and greater noise output, these switches are sure to give you the tactile feedback you need to get your work done faster and more efficiently.

Where to buy Holy Panda switches, What’s the price?

There are 2 brands of Holy Panda switches, the Drop + Invyr Holy Panda switch and the Glorious panda switch. Drop’s Holy panda switch offers better experience than the Glorious but the price is much high.

Buy from Drop or Amazon

You can buy the Drop Holy Panda switches from Drop.com for around $1.20 per switch. There are three packs of switches, 70,90, and 110; the prices are $85,$105, and $125. If you buy from Drop.com, the Panda switches will be Unlubed from the factory

You can also buy the glorious panda switches from pcgamingrace.com. The price is around $0.7 per switch. There are 2 packs of swathes, 36 unlubed and 36 lubed. The prices are $24.99 and $34.99.

If you don’t want to purchase from drop or pc gaming, there’s not really a good way to get them. The only way is to make them yourself (assuming you can get your hands on Invyr Pandas). The main problem is that they cost a lot since you have to buy two switches to make one.

If you’re new to this, I wouldn’t suggest jumping into Holy Pandas.

How many pins are Holy Panda switches? What keyboards do Holy Pandas fit in?

Holy Panda switches has three pins. It is compatible with CherryMx keyboards and most other hot-swappable keyboards. If your keyboard doesn’t have the ability to be hot-swapped, you will need to use a soldering iron.

What is the best lube for Holy Panda switches?

We recommend a thick grease like 3204, 3203, 205g0, or GHv4 for best results when using Holy Panda switches. The added softness of the grease will offset the harshness of the switch springs and provide a more comfortable typing experience.

How to lube Holy Panda switches?

I used a very light amount of lube on the slider (just enough to make it move smoothly), but I didn’t put lube on the legs so that they would stay as tactile as possible. I also didn’t put lube on the north-south face of the stem.

For the bottom housing, put lube on the rail and in the hole where the stem goes.

For the top housing, put lube on the friction points between it and the stem (the north-south friction points).

I used a light amount of lube on spring 105.

The end result is pretty good. It’s smooth to travel but still tactile.

How does Holy Panda switches sound are holy panda switches quiet?

Holy Panda switches are not as quiet as many people believe them to be. The stem being longer and the switch bottoming out on the bottom of the stem instead of on the sliders make them noticeably louder. This also depends on plate material and board material.

Are Holy Pandas Good for Gaming?

Holy Pandas are a great switch for typists and those who prefer a heavier actuation weight.

If you are coming from a gaming background and are used to Cherry MX Blue or Brown switches, I would not recommend using Holy Pandas as they require more force to actuate and may lead to fatigue.

If you are looking for a gaming switch that is heavier than Cherry MX Blues, Holy Pandas would be a great choice.

Holy Panda switch alternatives.

One Holy Panda switch alternative is Topre especially with BKE domes which feels like a rubber dome but it has a stiffer spring so you might want to try this out.

If you’re looking for something different than what’s pictured ALPS switches which feel more like mechanical keys because they require more force to press down as well as zeal v2 or Box Royals as both these options also offer unique feeling when typing (Box Royals seem to have a tactile bump halfway through the stroke while zeal v2 has a very pronounced dome texture).

If you’re looking for Holy Panda switches, but can’t find them, one of these might be just what you need.

How to improve your Holy Panda swiches with better experience?

Holy Panda Switches are a type of keyboard switch that is similar to Cherry MX switches, but with Holy Panda keycaps. Holy Panda Switches come in various colors and have excellent tactile feedback.

Some Holy Pandas are heavier than others, so you may want to experiment with different weights when ordering your Holy Pander Switch Keyboard.

If you’re looking to improve your Holy Panda switches, there are a few things you can try. One is to experiment with different types of contact leaf rubberbands.

Another is to try different keycap profiles and thicknesses, as they all sound different. You can also experiment with different types of plates, such as acrylic or brass.

Finally, you can try dropping a tiny crystal bead into the stem hole so the stem will strike it before sliders hit bottom, which will reduce key travel but may make some interesting sounds.
